FROM THE COMPUTER ROOM:
ASE FIBER UPDATE:
AT&T reports that our fiber service is ready and communicating properly through AT&T's central communication facility. This was the first major part of the legwork that needed to be done. The ball is now being handed off to ICN which needs to bring in our new router and have it communicating with their facility through the AT&T fiber line. Once complete, we will move forward with transitioning our servers to the new line.
INDEX REBUILD THIS SUNDAY:
We will be doing an index rebuild this Sunday, between 6am and 11am. This is to fix an authority issue. The rebuild will be keyword only, which only takes about four hours, and not a browse rebuild.
