FROM THE COMPUTER ROOM:
Computer Room Staffing – you might have noticed that Frank is away this week. We are planning further work on texting of notices when he returns.
Trial of Enterprise – the Computer Room has been busy working with SirsiDynix on the Enterprise trial. As of late last week and into the next few weeks, the committee is testing.
AUTHORITIES NEWS:
On Thursday, April 11th, CCS sent 8320 bibliographic records to Marcive for authorities processing. 2503 bibliographic records were updated and sent back to us. They were reloaded into our system, along with 3733 new authority records.
CCS has also been loading lots of updated authority records obtained from Marcive. Over the past month, 7100 of these records were loaded into our system. The authority records and their associated headings were updated to be in accordance with the new cataloging rules of RDA.
