CCS News

NOVEMBER 20, 2009

FROM THE COMPUTER ROOM:
Hours – The computer room will be open all normal hours next week – except closed on Thanksgiving Day. All processes and reports will run normally. As all libraries are closed Thursday, there will not be a pick list until Friday.

Novelist Select – Due to problems we found processing special symbols in the Novelist Select system, we have returned to “test mode” on the Novelist Select project. Please stay tuned to the listserv for updates and opportunities to further the testing before we try to put this feature into production.

SUBJECT HEADING CHANGES:
The most important subject heading change that occurred last night was for : “Antenuptial contracts”. It is now “Prenuptial contracts”.

Other subject heading changes occurred with: “African American women domestics”. It is now “African American women household employees”.
