FROM THE COMPUTER ROOM:
The New Production Server:
SirsiDynix was on site this past week to install our new Production Server; the process went very well. Over the next few weeks we will prepare the server for the data migration which is still scheduled for the evening of August 12th.
SP5 is now loaded:
On Tuesday Symphony Release 3.4.1 SP5 was loaded on the Test Server. If you haven’t already done so, please take a look at the SirsiDynix documentation for SP5, though little changed between SP4 and SP5 other than bug fixes. (http://www.ccslib.org/attachments/File/LibraryStaff/Symphony341SP5ReleaseNotes.pdf ) . Those that tested SP4 should retest.
