FROM THE COMPUTER ROOM:
Enterprise trial – The Computer Room has been busy helping SirsiDynix to get a trial of Enterprise ready with our data so that it can be evaluated by the BiblioCommons/Enterprise Task Force in the coming weeks.
New network appliance – our Packet Shaper network appliance will be upgraded the morning of Wednesday April 3 – very early in the morning, about 6:30 am. You will experience a very short network interruption to CCS while we plug in the new equipment.
OCLC number format patch – we are corresponding with SirsiDynix about installing the patch to accommodate the format change to the OCLC number which is expected to occur July 1, 2013.
