FROM THE COMPUTER ROOM:
Testing 3.4.1 SP2 - The new release is on the Test Server.  We have published a memo about downloading the client to the Maintenance Coordinators with copies to the Administrative listserv.  Thank you to those who have commenced testing both the client download and some of the new features.


AUTHORITIES NEWS:
This week was a busy week of loading Marcive files.  On Thursday, September 27, CCS sent 8430 bibliographic records to Marcive for authorities processing.  2318 bibliographic records were updated and sent back to us.  They were reloaded into our system, along with 4029 new authority records (which will be loaded on Friday, September 28).  Besides those files, two more were loaded into our system.  One contained 2159 updated authority records and the other contained 362 new authority records that were needed in our database, but were not available before this time.
