FROM THE COMPUTER ROOM:
Please check the Help Desk (WonderDesk) Welcome Screen when opening or updating a ticket. If you are working with one of the CCS staff members and need something urgent or just a reply, check the person’s schedule. We have listed the vacation schedule this month for our computer room staff. It’s going to be a busy month, and with everyone taking a week off, sometimes things may be delayed or overlooked.

Please keep sending in any problems or issues that you may find with Director’s Station. Right now it seems to be behaving in a positive way. Willie is working with Sirsi and they have a log of all the issues and problems that have been reported.

FY08-9 STATISTICS: In case you’re wondering where the last fiscal year went, here are some of the ways you kept busy:

1,063,889 MARC records (up 19,410 or 1.86%)

634,099 authority records (up 34,237 or 5.71%)

5,015.499 item records (up 100,097 or 2.04%)

639,344 user records (up 14,915 or 2.39%)

13,488,327 checkouts & renewals (up 248,032 or 1.87%)

Workflows holds placed: 380,734 (up 32,218 or 9.24%)

iBistro holds placed: 1,126,444 (up 121,915 or 12.14%)

total holds placed online: 1,507,178 (up 154,133 or 11.39%)

ILL items sent: 921,694 (up 78,666 or 9.33%)

These numbers and more will be in the FY08-9 Narrative Annual Report.
